Ollie

Today we used the Ollies to navigate a few obstacles. We simply used the line drawing option but we also found out a lot more along the way.

Programming

This week we used the Mbots, Scratch  and Ollie to do some programming. We know how to program some basic movements like forward, back, left and right. We even did some debugging.

Below is an example of a simple game. (It's not perfect but it's a good start).

30 Students and teachers came along and they all successfully made their websites. Not a bad way to spend a wet lunchtime. What an easy and practical tool for us to all have available.

Pixel Art

The first ICT club meeting for Term 2 was open to both Middle and Senior students and we were quite busy.


Today's theme was Pixel art. We continued to explore spreadsheets and used the conditional formatting tool to make some fun art.
